The April Sloan-Hendrix School Board Regular Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, April 27, at 6:30.

Due to the forecast for tomorrow, the t-ball schedule is being pushed back one week. Practice will be next Saturday, April 11. If anyone has not heard from their team’s coach, they need to contact Coach Brightwell.

Invitation to Bid : Sloan-Hendrix Schools in Imboden, Arkansas is accepting sealed bids for the sale and removal of the following item: 2001 Ford Crown Vic, 100,000 + miles (runs). Interested bidders may make an onsite inspection at Sloan-Hendrix Schools. Sealed bids should be addressed to: Sloan-Hendrix Schools, Administration Office, P.O. Box 1080, Imboden, AR 72434 and must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026. The Sloan-Hendrix School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Payment in full will be required before removal. Removal must take place by Friday, April 17, 2026.

The February Sloan-Hendrix School Board Meeting will be held on Monday, February 16, at 6:30.

Sloan-Hendrix Schools will not be in session on Monday, January 19, 2026.

The January Sloan-Hendrix School Board Meeting will be held on Monday, January 19, at 6:30.

The December Sloan-Hendrix School Board Regular Meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 5:30.

The November Sloan-Hendrix School Board Regular Meeting will be held on Monday, November 17, at 6:30.

The Annual Report to the Public and October School Board Meeting will be held on Monday, October 20, at 6:30.

The September Sloan-Hendrix School Board Regular Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025, at 6:30.

The Sloan-Hendrix School District is pleased to announce that we will participate in Provision 2 during the 2025-2026 school year, which provides lunch at no charge for all students regardless of eligibility. Free breakfast will also be provided by Act 123 for all students.
We request that meal applications still be returned this year. The collection of meal applications this year will help us to participate in the Provision 2 program for future years.

Summer EBT

Meals will be served at the Sloan-Hendrix Cafeteria on Monday - Friday for all age 18 and younger this summer.

Tickets for the Baseball/Softball Regional Tournament must be purchased through Go Fan at the following link: https://gofan.co/app/school/AR11936 A baseball or softball ticket will get you in the gate. You are not required to purchase both for entry.

Kindergarten Registration: Sloan-Hendrix will have kindergarten registration on Thursday, March 13th from 3:30-6:00 in the elementary library. Any child who will be five years of age on or before August 1, 2025 will be eligible to enroll. Parents must provide the following records before school begins in August: birth certificate, social security card, immunization records, and a health physical. Please bring all available documents to the registration and we will make a copy of them for our records. If you are unable to attend the registration on March 13th, you may call the elementary office to make an appointment to register your child at a later date.

Due to the road conditions of many secondary roads throughout the district, the Sloan-Hendrix School District will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 21.
